Notes Rescued lower saloon body; built as 48-seat uncanopied 4-wheeled open-topper (NCT A Class) similar to Newcastle 114, converted to 60-seat open-balcony car c.1906; W.c.1939; one of 14 sold to Sheffield 1941, fitted with windscreens and enclosed balconies by Sheffield; W.2/1951; P.2019; present intention is to mount it on a 6-wheel underframe for use as a passenger carriage
